Casual comfortable atmosphere. Friendly pleasant staff. Homemade pasta and good food. Their delicious garlic bread is a must!
My family has been coming to Dino's for literally 3 generations... truly amazing how this great restaurant has stood the test of time. Homemade noodles, cheese ravioli, sausage... yes please!
Dino's is top notch! Our family has been going there forever! The service is great, the food is excellent & I love that when I want some great pizza at home I can stop in & pick one up! I have to avoid the delicious italian sandwich tho because if I have one I become obsessed & need one everyday! Dino's has been a family fave for at least 20 years & highly recommended for good Italian food!
So very sad to see this place close. The food has always been beyond amazing and the atmosphere is so friendly. A great family owned restaurant over the decades.
Very heart broken to hear this amazing place is shutting its doors....Best pizza in Colorado in my opinion, also very good meatball subs!! Fast service and nice waiters. Me and my girlfriend come here at least 1-2 times a month. I love having dinner here. I've been coming here since my parents brought me here as a child. Would highly recommend this place!! I love it! One of the best Italian if not the best restaurant in Colorado.
So sad to be our last trip to Dinos. I have been coming here for 50 years! Thanks for all the memories.
This place has been here for a very long time and it was my first job. 30 years later i still have to have the sausage deluxe sandwich about once a month or more. One of my all time favorite sandwiches!! Classic simple italian done right. No frills.
Our family has been going here since 1973. Sorry the owner feels it's not able to sustain anymore. The real issue us people should patronize business that have been here forever. New is not always better! Repairs should be made to Dinos without a doubt but with the crowds collecting these remaining nights it says one thing... Customers do enjoy it very much and it should continue in business just maybe under new owners. I think it's very clear, maintaining the property was too much for the daughter.
While the fun trendy places are good to visit, this is just home. I've read some other low star reviews and am shocked. My grandparents took my dad here when he was little, my dad took us as children and now I frequent with friends and family. Decor is retro but comfortable. Their bread/crust is my favorite. Great sandwiches and pasta.
There's no bad food at Dino's, I love all of it and I could eat all of it when I go in there however today I had Dino sandwich. Oh my goodness it is so good and huge. The service was amazing we had a great server
Good riddance to ineffective service, I suppose. We have been waiting almost an hour; it was supposed to be a 50 minute wait. Fine. I went to check how much longer, and they said another 50 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Not only that, but we weren’t even given a wait time when we put our name on the list....I had to ask later.
I've been coming here since I was a kid, amazing atmosphere and friendly staff that greet you and remember you like you're family. The salad dressing is to die for! I always take a pint home because it's the only dressing I eat. Amazing homemade noodles and delicious red sauce! The meatballs are so moist and delicious! I highly recommend! Stop and get some homemade pie and ice cream before you leave! 5/5 always!
I have been going here for 25 years plus, not regularly because I don't live in the area but I do take time to occasionally make the trip over there. There's a reason for that it's great food at a reasonable price. They have a straight forward simple Italian menu with almost everything being homemade or from scratch with Dino's original recipes from the bread and garlic toast to the meatballs and rigatoni noodles to the ice cream and pies. Dino has been gone for a while now (I'm not sure how long since he's passed) but it seems as though the food has really not changed much which I find refreshing in today's world. The service always seems to be be good when I go, they do not waste a lot of time with formalities and are efficient and quick but that doesn't mean you have to be rushed. As long as Dino's is open and the food has the same great taste I will be going here to have a great meal at a reasonable price.
Dino's Italian Food is a wonderful, family-oriented restaurant. We have been enjoying meals there for a long time, and when we bring friends, they are always very happy with the food and the friendly service! We are very sad that they are closing, and we hope something will happen so that they can stay open. Otherwise, we will really miss Dino's, and I dont think there's anything quite like it in the greater Denver metro area!
Sad to see it close soon but their lasagna was to die for and i literally ate it all. This can tell you how good it is. Better go now before it officially closes.
I I've been going there since I was a little girl( long time ago). So sad to hear they're closing soon, Dino was such a special man. Surely missed! The spaghetti with homemade noodles is wonderful and they have the most amazing lasagna. I always order both the leftovers are just as good.Try the pizza too, can't go wrong.
I am the 4th generation of my family that has been coming here. Sadly this was probably my last time eating here, for they are going out of business. It always has been and always will be a great place for really good memories. LONG LIVE DINO'S, at least in my family.
When I was just a kid my family ate here many times. It was THE place to be after a football game when I was in high school. I brought dates there & then later my own family. I'm going to miss it. Good luck to Judy & all the wonderful folks that work there.
The hand made noodles were great! Meat sauce was a little bland and could have been richer, but overall a good experience. Great staff and nice environment
Always a great experience with great food. Been here as long as i can remember and is one of my personal favorite Italian food restaurants.
Great Italian food.🍞🍕🍝🍷 It's been around a long time. Hate to see it go like all the other home owned places. The food flavor, ambiance and personal attention is missing in the franchise's that everyone goes to now. Wish they would at least still sell the pizza some how. Like a food truck??? Or bottle the spaghetti sauce and sell at Safeway and Kings. Good bye to yet another nostalgic place😢
I love this place and always will. I'm so sad they are closing but still happy for the family. Congrats on the retirement and we hope the best for you for the years to come. P.s. recipes please
Awesome Lasagne meal, total with salad two entrees and a small pizza. Less than the price of two sub in boulder, and much better than any place in Boulder
Sad too see this place go. I've been coming here for 30 years and my family has been going since the 60s. It's too bad its closing it will be missed. Best garlic bread in the world.
Local family owned restaurant. Home made food and reasonable prices. Even a 10-inch super combo pizza would be enough for a meal.
Super busy because it is closing, but I don't understand why. Had to wait an hour to be seated then another thirty minutes for food other than salads once we ordered. I went to see what the craze about it closing is, but after going I don't understand. The noodles are thick and everything is bland and disgusting.
Great old red sauce family place. A great asset for the community. Lakewood loses by them closing.
Great food. Took some pictures of Arial pictures from way back in the day. Romantic atmosphere. Good service. Has been in business over 5years !!
I liked the homemade noodles and the pie was excellent. I would have liked the sauce better without the meat, because I think the meat was a little heavily seasoned with too much fennel seed. Otherwise, it was good.
Wonderful landmark restaurant! Still outstanding .. authentic Italian food! Wonderful, courteous wait staff! Sorry to see it close at the end of Sept.
A little busy now that they are closing. Had a hour wait time. Everyone coming for a last experience or maybe a first experience since after hearing of the closure. Good Italian food, nothing extravagant, but good old style home made noodles and meatballs. What makes this place stand out is it's one of the last Italian places of a era before. That gives this place character something alot of these new restaurants lack and we wont get back.
Old school dinning at its finest. Lasagna dinner is always one of the top choices. However pizza night is always my favorite night of the week. Make sure to add on a house salad for balance.
Enjoyed the pizza and lasagna. Fresh pizza crust delicious toppings. Always love the lasagna. The homemade pasta is so yummy!
Sad to see this iconic place close. Was a favorite of mine as a child and is still just as good now when my children can enjoy it with me. Going to miss this place. Thanks Dinos for the wonderful food and memories.
They were super busy but wait staff worked hard. Everyone wants to have 1 last meal there before restaurant closes for good. Great memories
Trying to go or final times before they close their doors. Enjoyed a great dinner and fantastic service. Had to cap it off with dessert.
Delicious 😋 my family has been dining here forever, sad to see it go 😔
I’ve been dining at Dino’s for going on 57 years. Heart broken they are closing! Love the food, service and atmosphere. Good old fashioned family run Italian restaurant, not a trendy, overpriced, flash in the pan place that would be out of business in a few years. For the last 12 years we’ve had four generations of my family at the table. I sincerely thank the owners and staff for all the great food and memories. You will be greatly missed!
I love the relaxed setting and homemade noodles make this place AMAZING. Their prices are cheap but the quality/quantity is great. Will definitely go back again. Oh and don't forget to try their homemade spumoni!
It's a great old location that brought back some of my childhood memories in Chicago (old style nostalgia). We went for happy hour with some friends and had never been and was surprised. The food was good and the wife got dessert after and was surprised twice (cheese cake). On top of that the bartender was super friendly and very nice. Only one wish was that they had more options for happy hour beers, but that won't stop from going back.
Homemade noodles were delicious. I'm sad that my first time to try this restaurant I find out that they will be closing their doors on September 30. I'll be going back to try more of their limited menu.
Simply a family Italian restaurant. Dinners come with salad, bread and a beverage currently $13.30. They have homemade (fat) or regular noodles but all pasta is made onsite. Their pies are yummy. I have taken a whole one home a few times. This is a locally owned restaurant that has operated since 1961.
It's Dino's. It never was the best, but it was always there, always good service, great sandwiches. Now it's closing, and we hope you had a chance to eat at this piece of Lakewood history.
Nice atmosphere. Service was good. Had the lasagna, lots of sauce and noodles. Not a lot of ground beef, if any. But had a good flavor to it.
Very good food. Friendly staff and everything is brought to you quickly. Portions seem small but it's very filling. Handmade options for pasta are available too and for a very small upcharge that's totally worth it. They don't seem to be super packed or busy that often which is awesome.
When we got there almost 2 hr. wait. Then when we went to order they were out of Lasagna and salad dressing for our salads. The pizza was awesome. An I guess Im not surprised with them closing they would run out of things considering the crowds
I've been eating at Dino's since I was a kid and the food has never changed! Its consistently delicious. From pizza to pasta to salad, everything exceeds expectations. I certainly hope its doors remain open for another forty years. Cheers!
We love this place we had our 1st date dinner there in 1983. The food is delicious and home made. The garlic bread is to die for. All at a good price. Home made spaghetti yummmm.
Had the lasagna came with a salad drink and bread! Was very good! My waitress was very pleasant and nice and took good care of me! Will def be back!
Service can be slow at times, especially if you order a pizza, which can take some time to cook. But the food tastes fantastic and I will never stop coming here. The pizza, Italian sandwiches, and homemade spaghetti are our favorites. Wife also loves their pies.
